Maxillofacial Surgery - additional degree in Medicine is a advantage; or
(b) Prosthetic Dentistry in the field of Prosthetic Dentistry -
candidates with additional qualification in `Fixed and Implant
Prosthodontics' or `Maxillofacial Prosthodontics' will be given
preference to teach postgraduates for the clinical programs other than
teaching at undergraduate level or must have obtained Bachelor of
Dental Surgery which is recognized by the Malaysian Dental Council
(registerable) .

Profesional Organisation (MEIU) or

sub-specialist training in Trauma and Emergency in a recongnised
center; or
(v) Cardiac Anaesthesia minimal period of one (1) years
sub-specialist training in Cardiac Anaesthesia ; or
(vi) Intensive Care Unit - minimal period of one (1) years
sub-specialist training in Intensive Care Medicine in a recognized
center; or
(vii) Acute and Chronic Pain Management - minimal period of one (1)
years sub-specialist training in Acute and Chronic Pain Management in
a recognized center ; or
(viii) Anaesthesia for Interventional Procedures - minimal period of
one (1) years sub-specialist training in Anaesthesia for
Interventional Procedures in a rewgnised center ; or
(viiii) Oral and Maxillofacial Anaestesia - minimal period of one (1)
years sub- specialist training in Oral & Maxilofacial Anaestesia in a
recognized center.

GENERAL INFORMATION

2. All qualifications must be recognized by the Government of Malaysia.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT: Credit in Bahasa Malaysia including a pass in
the oral test at the Malaysian Certificate of Education level or its
equivalent. This requirement is applicable for Malaysian citizens only.

MODE OF APPOINTMENT:

(a) Permanent appointment for Malaysian citizens. However, University
of Malaya reserves the right to appoint Malaysian citizens on
short-term contracts.

SALARY: Initial salary offered will be in the range as given below
depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience:

Professor : from RM6,000.00 - RM7,600.00 per month

Associate : from RM4,300.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Lecturer : from RM2,200.00 - RM4,900.00 per month

Public Service Allowance, Housing Allowance, Entertainment Allowance,
Critical Service Allowance.
