The IFPA Executive Committee has the pleasure to invite you to IFPA meetings in Istanbul , Turkey , May 23 to May 26, 2008. Please find here the first announcement. Information in detail and registration form etc will follow in the next Newsletter shortly. But please book the dates in your calendar.



Istanbul

At the Executive Committee Meeting in San Antonio it was decided to arrange the yearly IFPA meetings, WPD Supporters Training Meeting and Informal IFPA Member Meeting, in conjunction with the 5th EADV Spring Symposium, 22-25 May, 2008.



Preliminary Meeting Plans:



Friday May 23 Arrival IFPA Members



Saturday May 24 Informal IFPA Members Meeting



Sunday May 25 WPD Supporters Training Meeting, Evening: IFPA Dinner



Monday May 26 Departure IFPA Members





Travelling costs and accommodation for IFPA Members

It is a pleasure to inform you that IFPA will be able to subsidise the travelling cost and hotel room for one representative from each National Psoriasis Association for attending the meetings in Istanbul .



Hotel

IFPA are prebooking single hotel rooms that will be available for the IFPA members. The name and address of the hotel will be announced later.



CHECK IN: Friday May 23

CHECK OUT: Monday May 26



The level of Subsidising per IFPA Member Association



IFPA will cover the cost of:



1 (one) single room with breakfast with arrival May 23 and departure May 26.


Contribution to Airfare to a maximum amount of 1500 USD for members that fly from overseas. For European members the maximum amount will be 750 USD. Please try to find the cheapest available flight.


Please note The IFPA Board strongly encourages all efforts from you to try to get sponsoring and funding from any national drug company or other national sponsor for the travel expenses and accommodation. The financial situation of IFPA is not very strong and any contribution of this kind is most appreciated and welcome.
