A PhD studentship is available to study helminth modulation of allergic responses in the Inflammation and Immunity Research group in Trinity College Dublin, Dublin, Ireland. The Inflammation and Immunity Research team is based in well-equipped laboratories in the Institute of Molecular Medicine, School of Medicine, Trinity College Dublin. The Institute of Molecular Medicine is a new state-of-the-art facility devoted to basic and translational research.
The project will involve investigation of the immunological mechanism that helminths use to suppress allergic inflammation (Fallon and Mangan, Nature Rev Immunol 2007). The student will focus on characterizing helminth immune modulating molecules and analysis of their function (Smith et al., J Exp Med 2005; Fallon and Alcami, Trends Immunol 2006). Applicants should have experience in basic molecular biology or cell biology.

A qualitative study of British South Asian Carers’ views of their Children with Developmental DisabilitiesA collaborative studentship provided by Wolverhampton Primary Care Trust and the School of Psychology, University of Birmingham.Funding is available for a three-year PhD studentship from October 2008, for a largely qualitative research project which will involve close collaboration between the School of Psychology at the University of Birmingham and the Wolverhampton Primary Care Trust. The proposed research will seek to develop an understanding of the views of South Asian parents about their children, and about their developmental disabilities. A detailed, culturally-sensitive, and systematic account of these views will allow us to understand their role in shaping the care of children. The project will allow us to better understand parents access to, and interactions with, service systems. As a result, we will be able to help South Asian carers to use services more effectively, and for services to adapt more effectively to the needs of this client group.Research supervision will be provided by Dr John Rose and Dr Michael Larkin in the Clinical Psychology team. Dr Rose has a track record of conducting and supervising research in the field of developmental disability; Dr Larkin has a track record on conducting and supervising qualitative and phenomenological research in the area of culture and psychology. The successful candidate will join a 5* RAE-rated Psychology department with excellent facilities, established research groups, and substantial external funding. The School supports around 250 postgraduate students in professional training and research degrees.
The studentship requires an Honours degree in Psychology (2:1 or above); Enthusiasm for research, and commitment to producing and disseminating excellent qualitative research; Commitment to the wellbeing of people with learning disability, and their families; Good communication and organisational skills. Prior knowledge of qualitative or phenomenological psychology would be a considerable advantage, as would fluency in at least one South Asian language.The studentship will be at the basic UK research council rate (expected GBP 12,600 per annum) to provide support over the three-year period, and will cover tuition fees. The student may also be eligible to contribute to our paid Teaching Assistant programme.

Department of Archaeology at Durham University is one of the largest Archaeology departments in Europe, offering an outstanding range of research and teaching expertise.
Department of Archaeology at Durham University is delighted to announce the allocation of up to four Durham Academic Scholarships starting in October 2008 for the following programme: PhD Archaeology (Full-time).
Our research is global, and ranges from early hominids to post-Medieval archaeology, with strengths in Bioarchaeology, European Prehistory, the worlds of Rome and Egypt, the Middle East and South Asia, and Medieval Europe. The KAUST Discovery Scholarship is the general scholarship program of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The KAUST Discovery Scholarship program is designed to ensure that any highly talented student who is qualified and eligible to enroll in KAUST will receive full financial support while at the University. Those who receive a Discovery Scholarship will receive full tuition support, a living stipend, and summer and career enrichment programs.
To qualify for a KAUST Discovery Scholarship, you:

Fisher Scholarships: MSc in Mathematical Finance
Department of Economics and School of Mathematics
The University of Birmingham's MSc in Mathematical Finance teaches
technically trained graduates - including in Mathematics, Science and
Engineering - to apply their quantitative skills to financial analysis.
Successful completion of the MSc will qualify students to work in
quantitative analysis in City of London
Recent advances in theoretical finance and computing power have moved
quantitative analysis from the margins of the financial world to its
core. Rigorous quantitative analysis is now involved in everything from
the design and pricing of individual assets to the optimisation of whole
portfolios. Birmingham's MSc in Mathematical Finance gives highly
motivated, high performing students an opportunity to work in this area.
It is taught by two top ranked institutions - its School of Mathematics
and its Department of Economics. Students take core courses in
financial econometrics, mathematical finance and computational methods.
Optional modules allow them to hone further their technical skills (e.g.
further mathematical finance) or to broaden their economic understanding
(e.g. macroeconomics) .
The MSc accepts students on the basis of quality rather than quantity.
In 2007-08, only one in six applicants were offered places. Thanks to a
generous private gift from Andrew Fisher (Birmingham economics 1982; CEO
Towry Law), six Fisher Scholarships covering full tuition fees are
available. Applicants with first class degrees are automatically
considered for Fisher Scholarships as well as internal scholarships
offered by the Economics Department, covering from a quarter to full
tuition fees. In both cases, scholarships are awarded to the most able
applicants, regardless of nationality. Home, EU and overseas students
all pay the same fees. This fee structure ensures that the most
qualified applicants are accepted, regardless of nationality.

Those outside the OECD are encouraged to post any additional material
that would help us evaluate their application, including results of
standardised assessments such as the GRE and CVs. Non-native speakers
of English must attain an IELTS score of 6.5, with no less than 6 in any
band. financial institutions, such as banks and hedge funds, or for
postgraduate research in mathematical finance.

NUS-APEC Scholarship for International MBA Program in NUS
One APEC Scholarship, funded by the Singapore Ministry of Education, is awarded annually to candidates from APEC member economies who are admitted to a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) at NUS.

- Sedang tidak menerima beasiswa dari institusi lain
II. Program Sarjana Strata Dua
Persyaratan:

4. Mempunyai pengalaman kerrja minimum selama 2 tahun, setelah menyelesaikan program S1

7. Sedang tidak menerima beasiswa dari institusi lain
